Can I say 'NO' during the PSLE Oral Examination?
The answer might surprise you—YES, you absolutely can!
Contrary to what some may believe, students do not need to give 'politically correct' answers. They are graded on the strength and logic of their responses. Unfortunately, many are taught to fabricate examples when they cannot think of one, this often leads to weak, incoherent stories and lower scores. Instead of resorting to lies, students should focus on crafting thoughtful, genuine 'no' responses. Interestingly, students often deliver more passionate and authentic answers when they are truthful.
To demonstrate this, we have provided model responses for both 'yes' and 'no' answers to the 2024 PSLE Day 1 Oral stimulus-based question. We are confident that students can excel, regardless of how they choose to respond.
💪 In fact, WG students are fully equipped for their PSLE Oral examinations with a powerful 218-page Oral Resource Package, filled with proprietary techniques and expertly curated model answers.
